$200 Toward Gourmet Fare and Drink: Specialty Sushi, Contemporary French

OYA serves up innovative riffs on gourmet ingredients, starting with basil edamame hummus and graduating to Chilean sea bass or roasted chicken with roasted coconut butternut purée. The sushi rolls are also adored, like the hamachi jalapeño and typhoon roll.

SEI takes a few pages out of OYA’s book, but expands its sushi to include a rousing spicy unagi harumaki roll — eel with a hint of spice and shiso pear sauce and the new “Make Your Own Hand Roll.” The main entrées nod to international tastes, particularly the shrimp tacos with wasabi sour cream and kobe sliders with tomato jam.

SAX offers a lush environment combining elements of a French cabaret and a Venetian opera house. Dine amid mirrored walls, velvet drapings, and gilded ornamentation, as grand costumed performers take the stage throughout your meal. The contemporary French menu highlights a three-course prix-fixe dinner, which offers seared diver sea scallops with peppered pineapple gelée or slow-roasted short ribs with a golden raisin demi-glace.
