@1:04. This is where I come from. The village is called Aristi and it belongs to a group of villages called Zagorochoria or Zagori. They are located in Epirus (NW Greece). Really beautiful place with lots of tradition. You should visit it if you ever be in Greece.

Stay away from the oily Greek food and undercooked seafood as I was served, if you don't want diarrhea or Food poisoning.

Steer clear from dark alleyways in Greece and definitely don't bend over to pick anything up anything in front of people in Greece as you might find a shocking surprise.

I visited Greece in their summer, most overrated country in the world. People are very in your face and loud (a lot of them have garlic breath) and also very dishonest, once they find out you are a tourist, everything suddenly costs 4 times the amount. I found the food very basic and mostly drenched in a lot of olive oil. I would love a refund if I could get one.

Macedonian was and will never be Greek. We differ from language and definitely appearance. Greeks females and males are more hairier and have olive complexion, which comes from their Turkish ancestry.

Macedonia existed before Greece and Athenia. The country Greece and name Greece was created by Great Britain, Germany & France. The first king of Greece was called "Otto" and was actually Bavarian German.

Greeks have Ottoman, Mongol & Gypsy in their DNA makeup, so Modern day Greeks have a third of Asian in them from the Ottoman/Mongol empire. The Macedonians (Not Greeks) are genetically taller, stronger and lighter in appearance than the smaller, weaker little Greeks. Hence why the Athenians surrendered when Alexander the Great (Not Greek or Athenian) conquered the Athenian tribes.

I would never go back, I would love a refund and I quiver each time I see tzatziki, it reminds me of the pungent breath most Greek citizens had.

My experiences in Greece were very bad, I found the people where too in your face and most have pungent garlic breath, and everywhere you go you get charged triple the amount once they find you are a tourist. Very dishonest people I found by my experience.

Although, I have to congratulate Greece for the recognition of the large transgender community in Greece. At least they have done one thing right.

Fun Fact: Moussaka is actually a Turkish dish and derives from Turkey, also Souvlaki is a copy of the Turkish Kebab and Greek Coffee is a copy of Turkish Coffee. All Same, Same.

How about when Greece poisoned up to 15,000 stray dogs before the Olympics. Poor dogs, the only harm they did was to be born in Greece.

Best place in Greece is Thessaloniki current know in Greek, But Solun in Macedonian (Not Greek). Solun and Northern Greece used to be part of Macedonia, until the Greeks forcefully took Macedonian land for their economic value. Left thousands of kids as orphans from the war. Real Macedonians in that region Aegean Macedonia were forbidden to speak Macedonian by Greek law and if did were severely persecuted even death.
